3. Presentation by Denis O'Leary, Captain at Ingleside Station. Ingleside now staffed at 102 officers with 12 sergeants. Shortage of sergeants. Tel. 553-0123 to report non-emergency items like tire slashing, 311 for graffiti on public building, 911 for in the act graffiti reporting.
4. Presentation by representative of Fiona Ma, concerning Assembly Bill 1767, preventing civil compromises from barring graffiti criminal actions. Motion in support of bill passed 13-1 with 1 abstention.
5. Printing, translating and leafleting of neighborhood concerning tire puncturing described. Jackie and Linda to pay costs of translating leaflets. Thank you to Jackie and Linda. (Total $30).
6. Mention of SAFE program. Check post on EDIA website for more info.
7. Newsletter printing. Motion unanimously passed to authorize payment for March, 2008 edition and a standing authorization to expend up to $150. per edition for printing and distribution of future editions if the board, in its discretion determines funds are available to cover such costs.
8. Discussion of positive results for the excelsior of recommendations by the SFMTA and EDIA members positive inputs. No further action at this time. Info at: www.sftep.com
9. Meeting on April 10 of community advisory board concerning St. Luke's.
10. Field representative of Sen. Leland Yee, Leah Lavalle Rowell, introduced herself.
11. Isis Rodriguez discussed the proliferation of illegal dumping. Described a community meeting to be held on April 20 at a time and location TBA.
12. Local famed poet Diane di Prima to present at the April Excelsior Arts and Culture Salon at the library. Check library/EDIA website for further details.
13. Presentation concerning the pending location of a charter high school at the campus of Denman middle school. Concern with possible disruption and failure of school board to keep parents informed and open up decision making process.
